Hi - I just found your blog from the Carnival of Cats and it is great! I played the movie and Willow was looking all over the computer area trying to find who was meowing in her. I’d like to put the pictures on Willow’s blog. Will definitely be back to visit here.

How lovely you are, Calais - it’s interesting how different all our voices are, although most of us are quite vocal! I’m an exception; I don’t talk very much and when I do it’s this embarrassing high-pitched siren-like sound. My sister Silky’s voice is deep and sing-songy. Ninna squeaks unless she finds a closed door, and then her voice can become quite demanding.

But your voice is very expressive, and it’s for sure no one’s going to be ignoring you!

Love Calais’s voice … He’s got a very kitten-like sound. My voice, and that of the Feline Americans, sound much more chirpy like little birds (if you can call a 30+ lb. “wanna-meezer” LITTLE). This is the first time that I’ve been to your blog. I’ll add you to my blogroll …
    Happy Holidays!

Thank you everyone for your compliments. I have spent a lot of time perfecting my meow, it has to be good to be heard over 3 other meezers. Did you like my Aussie accent?

Thanks DaisyMae, we have added you to our new blogroll too :)

Music to my ears. The interpretive dancing perfectly complements the vocalizations. Bravo!

It’s great to hear that Siamese voice. We lost our Siamese (Scooter) in May of 2005 after 23 wonderful years of meezer talk. Our latest additions, two half-Siamese half-Himalayan sisters, don’t have the Siamese voice. (Sometimes I’m glad they don’t have the vocal power that Scooter had — he often came into my home office when I was talking to a client on the phone and yelled for attention. He got attention!)
