It’s great to hear that Siamese voice. We lost our Siamese (Scooter) in May of 2005 after 23 wonderful years of meezer talk. Our latest additions, two half-Siamese half-Himalayan sisters, don’t have the Siamese voice. (Sometimes I’m glad they don’t have the vocal power that Scooter had — he often came into my home office when I was talking to a client on the phone and yelled for attention. He got attention!)

Love Calais’s voice … He’s got a very kitten-like sound. My voice, and that of the Feline Americans, sound much more chirpy like little birds (if you can call a 30+ lb. “wanna-meezer” LITTLE). This is the first time that I’ve been to your blog. I’ll add you to my blogroll …

How lovely you are, Calais – it’s interesting how different all our voices are, although most of us are quite vocal! I’m an exception; I don’t talk very much and when I do it’s this embarrassing high-pitched siren-like sound. My sister Silky’s voice is deep and sing-songy. Ninna squeaks unless she finds a closed door, and then her voice can become quite demanding.

But your voice is very expressive, and it’s for sure no one’s going to be ignoring you!
