Getting to know me

I have been tagged, probably multiple times, but most notable by Jodie at Avinak (have been meaning to ask what that means?)

First of all, here are the rules:

A. Each player lists 8 facts/habits about themselves.

B. The rules of the game are posted at the beginning before those facts/habits are listed.

C. At the end of the post, the player then tags 8 people and posts their names, then goes to their blogs and leaves them a comment, letting them know that they have been tagged and asking them to read your blog.

Hmm, OK 8 things about me….

1. I’m a soon to be 28yo Mum of 3, Hayden 8, Emily 7, Katelyn 4. Next year I will be home ALL alone :O

2. Never been married, but have been with my OH for over 11years now and we are still very much in love (yes, you can vomit now :P ) There are plans *wink*

3. We share our home or it could be the other way round, with 4 Siamese cats, and maybe room for more. They have their own blog, that they share with the kids.

4. I am a numbers junkie in all aspects of my life, especially online..sometimes it can be a little scary, but I think I have it under control *hehe* I will have to move small amounts of money between our bank accounts to bank, and pay very odd amounts on bills to make sure there is always an even amount in there…

5. I have a tattoo, and would love to get more.

6. I LOVE Pink, we went to her concert, it’s always on in the car and the kids know all the words, yet can’t memories their times tables? I’ve not been much of a fanny type, since the last one died when I was a teen..and I thought my life was over. God I hope that doesn’t happen to her!

7. I am shy *blush*

8. I love horses, I have owned a few in my life and hope to get one soon for my kids.

Opps..forgot the tagging..Hmm I think I am so late now everyone has probably already been tagged…and I don’t want to tag someone who doesn’t want to tell us 8 things about themselves. So if you would like to be tagged..consider it done

How many calories?

Everyone has heard of the 10,0000 steps program, until I work out how to attach my laptop to the treadmill..that isn’t going to happen. But maybe we can make up our steps in clicks and typing!

Have you ever wondered how many calories a day do you burn online? Well wonder no more! Wits End shared this great little counter. It counts calories burnt as well as your clicks left AND right, key presses, distance your mouse has travels and work time.

I have installed it, will be interesting to see the results as the end of the day. Anyone else game to come back and share there results too?

Perhaps we could start a 10,000 clicks program *hehe*

Drowning in memes!

Do you ever feel like you are downing in memes? Don’t get me wrong, I think most of them are great, you can learn more about your fellow bloggers, have a bit of fun and give acknowledgement for great work.

But OMG, it seems like they breed, coming in rivers. If you don’t keep on top of them you quickly start drowning, like I have. I thought I would wait till I got the new blog going going, and do them there. But before I knew it there was more than I could keep up with. I feel so guilty when I don’t reply to all of them, but it gets to a point where it becomes humanly impossible.

What is your take on memes? Do you feel you HAVE to do them all? Do you just pick the ones you like and leave the others, or just ignore all of them? I will admit I ignore some that just don’t interest me, I feel bad, but I get over it. The more that come in, the more picky you have to be.

So I am terribly sorry if you tagged me from one of my other blogs, I don’t mean to be rude and ignore you but I am going to have to cut my losses and start again with the couple from this week and ease back in.

Hopefully all will be right now :)

This is something that my kids LOVE doing and has them entertained and laughing for hours. We take lots of digital photos in our house so there is never a shortage of pictures for them to play with. It can be just as entertaining for some adults as well.

You don’t need to be a whiz with expensive software to do some creative editing with your pictures. It can be fun and easy for the whole family to have a go at these 6 fun online photo editing tools.
