- Happy Gotcha Day Anastasia
I was just sitting watching Anstasia peacefully napping in a ball in the sun and remembered…today is her 7th gotchaversary!7 years ago today, Jake bought me a tiny bundle of meow and spunk, our first meezer, for my 21st Birthday. Thus started our extra special love affair with meezers. You see she was my present, but just about instantly became very much a Daddy’s girl, so I had to keep buying more to get one that loved me LOL!
So happy gotchaversary Stasia! We love you lots, thank you for bringing so much to our family, we couldn’t live without you
( I asked for another one this year, but got a bike instead..oh well, there is always Christmas *hehe*)

- No I don’t work for ikea

But how can you not love those fab Swedes from Ikea, they just come up with the best ideas.
I spotted this cat bed posted over at Cute Overload is it not the cutest?
I then thought yeah, that’s great but of course it will be at the US Ikea, like everything else, they won’t have it here in Australia. But I went searching anyway…and they do! Ikea also have a bunch of other great pet products. I have missed shopping at ikea, since they closed down our local store. I will definitely have to take a trip to pick up one of those beds

- All Women blogging carnival
Last week we had a great week with lots of new bloggers joining in, the theme was fun too. I enjoyed reading all the stories.
I think we need an All Women blogging badge/banner/button that we can easily use to let everyone know about the carnival. Any of our creative ladies out there want to have a crack at it, we could have a competition. This is all spur of the moment so let me know what you think?
Gee, what number are we up to now..10 I think..wow, 10 weeks already!
Ok, on with the Carnival!

We’ll keep them limited to these sizes, I know I wouldn’t display anything bigger All measurements in pixels.

- Firefox add-ons you can’t live without
Well, that would probably cover all of them.
I have been a big firefox fan from the beginning. IE and I never really got on so was very glad to ditch it. I have tried many addons over the years, some have remained good friends and others have come and gone..I miss the egg timer addon!
What does your firefox window look like? Mine is pretty full, little icons wedged in everywhere, always room for more. As with everything, I love trying out new toys.
Here is a list of my favourite firefox add-ons. Would love to hear what you use and why, especially if it’s not on my list..
- Adsense Notifier- As the name suggests, updates you on your adsense earnings.
- Auto Copy- Simple little addon, select text, and it will automatically copy it for you. Bit of a love hate with this one, I thought I’d try it out and it was so annoying when it copied things I didn’t want to, but I slowly changed my habits and now I’m so lazy I couldn’t do without it now. I find myself in applications outside firefox getting frustrated wondering why it hasn’t auto copied.
- Better Flickr- from the legends at lifehacker. It adds some really handy little tools to make it just a bit easier to get around flickr.
- Better Gmail- another from lifehacker, and I think this one have to be one of my favourites. Adds a ton of great extra features to gmail.
- Colorzilla- adds a colour picker, makes it super easy to get the hex or rgb of colours anywhere.
- commentful- I really need to get into a better habit of using this one. Notifies you of replies in blog posts and forums, which is great, if you remember to track them…getting there slowly *hehe*
- DT whois- at the click of a button on the domain in question, opens up the domain tools whois page.
- exch- this is a new one, only installed last week. Does a pretty good job of what it’s suppose to..currency exchange.
- fireform- a form filler-in-era
- fotofox- quick photo upload to flickr
- IE Tab- another one I use quite a lot for a variety of reasons, which don’t all include testing pages in IE

- measureit- a nifty ruler for measuring elements on webpages.
- menu editor- hands up who has pressed open in new window instead of open in new tab more times than you care to admit and it really pisses you off…Me! So, you just delete it all together from the menu..easy! delete a bunch of other useless stuff too so your menu doesn’t end up being bigger than your screen.
- screengrab!- sure, taking a screen dump of what you can see is easy. But what about the whooole page or just a small selection. Choose to copy or save it.
- search status- if you could wear this this out with your eyes, I reckon everyone’s would be super faded. Shows PR, Alexa and now compete rank for pages. Also makes it easy to check for indexed pages and backlinks for a specific site.
- stumbleupon- if you don’t know what it is..where have you been hiding!
- web developer- a ton of handy tools for web developers.
So that’s my list of addons I am actively using at the moment. I hope someone finds something useful in it and do share any other great addons your using!
