A few weeks ago Hayden has his first grand final for soccer/football, what ever we are suppose to call it these days.

Everyone else was talking about putting blue hairspray in the kids hair, but that sounded a little boring and messy if they got sweaty. So I came up with my own design.

We had a flame haircut, and I coloured them in with blue and white face paint. It turned out really well, and stood up in the pouring rain.

Unfortunately, they lost 1-0 in extra time, but they are still at the age that it doesn’t really matter to them if they win or lose and they did so well to make it that far in their first year of points and competition…they had a great time!

As if soccer for 6mths of the year wasn’t enough. They had a 2 week break after the grand final and have started summer soccer on a Monday night till the end of the year. At least we get to sleep in on a Saturday now!
