- All for Women in the media
A little bit of media this week for All for Women. It’s always a bit of a buzz to see your site in magazines or newspaper. This week The Cairns Post ran an article on Sheila our travelling bra and the lovely Megan.
For those that couldn’t read the copy (waiting for my hard copy), I’ve done my best to read and transcribe, all but one word I could make out.
Have you seen this Bra?
The fuschia-something intrigued tourists and locals alike as it made the rounds of Far Northern attractions on the shoulders of Edge Hill woman Megan Bayliss.
“Its purpose is to raise consciousness about women’s issues and establish a circle of women all over the world” Ms Bayliss told The Cairns Post.
Dubbed Sheila, the racy item is the flagship garment of women’s group Sisterhood of the travelling bra and brainchild of online community All for Women.
Posted from Melbourne, Sheila has made her way through New South Wales and spent the holidays season touring everywhere from Mareeba’s big bull to Crystal Cascade.
“Tourists want to know why a woman is wearing a pink bra, and why you are taking photos” Ms Bayliss said.
“We have had tourists all clicking away with their cameras and saying they’ll send pictures home so that’s another way for her to travel”
Also, last week I found a small piece about All for Women in Readers Digest’s summer edition of HealthSmart Magazine.

- 52 things I ♥- week 2
Week 2 of things I ♥ and am grateful for. Still with the obvious ones. A bit of a juggle it is going to be to get everyone in the right order, mother is already waiting for hers.
My ♥ my small peoples, and a tad more when they are sleeping

- Hayden is 8. He is starting yr 4 this year (OMG only 3 more years till high school *faint*) He wants to start his own blog, which we will be doing soon and allformen.com.au *hehe*
- Emily is 7, starting yr 3 this year..not that she really needs to bother with school, because she already knows absolutley everything and will argue to the death with anyone about anything. I am not too sure where she gets that from
- Katelyn is nearly 5 and off to big school this year..I hope they are ready for her! The baby of the family but the biggest personality. She is a wonderful actress and Miss chatterbox, never shuts up.
I am so grateful to have 3 special, happy and healthy kids

We spent the weekend at Jake’s sisters last weekend. They have got themselves some new lawn mowers, Hamish and Andy.
Aren’t they so cute!
Lucy, their Old English
sheepdoggoatdog loves rounding them up. Sheep..goats…same thing.

- 52 things i ♥…365 challenge for the lazy and forgetful
Last year, I tried and failed dismally at the 365 challenge. Taking a picture every day for a year. I think I made it about 3 weeks.
But, always one to give something new a try once,I came across a new challenge in my travels last week that seemed more my style. Good on you Kay for joining in again. You can join in too, and start when ever you like. I’m sure everyone has lots of things they are grateful for if you really stop and think about it.
52
blessings(not keen on that word) things I <3. A picture a week of something I love and am very grateful for. I think I can handle that. Surely I can remember to post something thoughtful once a week…*hehe*So here is my first picture…Jakey, my man pet and bestest friend in the whole world!
He’s poking his tongue out, in case you can’t tell and think its a botox overdose (beware, scary gushy feelings may follow)
He would have to be the thing I am most grateful for. Anyone who can put up with me and my craziness for nearly 12yrs has to be someone special (or mentally deficient :P) I am gratful I have found someone who loves me for me, just the way I am (unless I get 2 arses or wear the purple teletubbie dress in public again, cause then he says he’s outta here!!)..
Love isn’t finding a perfect person. It’s seeing an imperfect person perfectly.
We have just spent 2 weeks holiday together, with another week to go…and I don’t want to stab him (except for that one time, last week..but that was PMS so doesn’t count..I want to stab everyone) Now if that’s not love, I dunno what is.
Don’t hurl too much, it wasn’t that bad *hehe*
