52 things I ♥- week 5

OK, so it’s a week late..but shhh don’t tell anyone ok ;)

This is my roof, my dirty roof and I <3 it very much. Particularly because it does not leak.

I live in Western Sydney, near Blacktown and in my area there are entire suburbs with houses covered in tarps with damaged and leaking roofs. The first major hail storm hit on the 9th of December, and we have had many more storms in the last few weeks with flooding rains and high winds. Making life hell for those still living under traps. These people are still waiting for much needed repairs, and they could be waiting for many months to come.

    Aren’t we up to week seven now? Either that or I have added a week somewhere. LOL

    Fancy that, all those storms and not a single leak - I’d be loving it too! :D

    I have driven past there and it must be terrible for those people. There are so many of them -the school too.
    I would be glad too if my roof didn’t leak.
