meezer monday

I love meezer noses.

I have to admit, Calais would have to be the cutest. He is a chocolate point, and has always had a lovely dark chocolaty nose, but I noticed last week a small pink lighter, pinky spot, which has now spread all over his nose. There aren’t, and haven’t been any sores, it hasn’t been red, and he hasn’t been licking it more than usual or anything.

I wonder what it could be?? Anyone else had this problem?

You can see the overall colour difference from before(top) and after (bottom 2), and the spots.

Hope they clear up and it goes back to it’s chocolaty cuteness.

Alex wanted to show of his nose too!

Cute noses! Maybe the spots are an age or temperature thing, since pointed colours do tend to change with temperature and age? Merlin’s points are becoming darker as he gets older.

Hmm…mine is very seal point brown. However we had a woofie friend who’s nose started out black and eventually turned totally pink! Its actually rather cute.

It may be a hormonal thing.

I have a cream colored dog and her nose changes to pink when she’s coming in season.

Really Margaret? How strange is that.

Tho, seeings as Calais is a desexed male, I’m hoping that’s not the reason behind the colour change *hehe*

Beautifull nose, but shouldn’t it be a little wet?
