Ride like the wind

The torture chamber

This is the torture chamber cycle room at the gym. Pretty, no? Looks much spiffier in the pic than in person actually..tho I do love the vinyl they use, it’s so cool and looks just like floorboards. Would love to have me some of that, be great for cleaning cat vomit off I’m sure.

Anyway..

how does my fat arse fit there?

The lights on the walls change all purtty colours too,a lovely pink, purple and blue. Not sure if it helps you ride any better, but I always love having them on LOL

Gots me one of those spiffy padded seat covers. The seats mose well be a bare pole that you sit on for the pain it inflicts on your nether regions.

Padded seat is very noice!

Have really been enjoying the classes, especially Fridays..she is the best instructor and she gave me a gold star yesterday Tongue

So it has been 3 weeks on the new program. Annoyingly have yet to do a full week, with appointments and a bloody cold have only done 4 days. I was getting super pissed off with no change on the scales since the holidays. I was starting to feel a little different in my pants, but thought that could have just been a figment of my imagination.

Was super pleased to discover I’d dropped 1.5kg this week, so I hope this means it’s back on track for a regular kg a week..would be very happy with that.

Oh congrats! I wish I had that sort of motivation! Gotta getz me some of that padded seat action for my bike here.

    Congrats on losing the weight!

What i’d really like to know though, is because the bikes are so close, do you get stuck smelling everyone else’s sweat? Or are people considerate and use lots of deoderant.

my cheeks (yes, those ones) ache when I look at those photos. Good on you! I actually meant to say last week when we caught up, you are looking really good! Well done – keep it up :)

  6. Good on you!

Just had a thought – never mind your cats, I think the vinyl in the gym is for when people vomit. Those cycle classes are HECTIC.

I prefer running in the real world – I’m a bit of a clean freak and I can’t stand to use stuff other people have… plus, I love the wind in my hair (because I don’t have a sports car). Hehe.

Oh that’s fantastic Leigh – well done on the weight loss, that’s awesome! I love the look of the cycle room too (and your spiffy seat cover *nods*). The bikes look cool – our bike seats are on springs so you bounce everywhere when you are sitting down LOL – I’d much prefer the sturdier ones.

  8. Leigh says:

    Thanks girls :D

V- There are lots of bikes but it is never packed and I get a whole corner to myself.

Christie- That thought had crossed my mind, I have had the feeling a few times..never seen anyone do it tho. Lots of people sweat huge puddles on the floor, not me..I’m a lady LMAO

Barbara- springy seat? That sounds really annoying..does it give you back pain?

  9. Barbara says:

No back pain at all, but you seriously bounce ALOT and it can get annoying LOL. I think they were actually designed to eliminate back & bum pain – I really have no idea. I’ll see if I can sneak a pic of our valadrome and will put it on my blog.
