The urge to stab is rising

Today, I was forced against my will…a nagging child and a very annoying and blackmailing man pet to make a purchase I swore blind I would never make. Granted it was the child’s money..but I had to hand it over, not without a lot of loud protest and swearing.

Hayden is now the proud owner of the most fark off ugly bloody monkey jacket I have even seen. I am sure they picked it for added annoyance. I have warned him to hide it, I may have the urge to burn and or toss it out.

Thought I would try it on and show him how stupid he looks…but he said “You look so beautiful mummy”

Little things..

Isn’t it funny how the littlest things can bring on huge waves of emotion.

Like tomatoes.

I was cleaning up the kitchen and came to moving some tomatoes that had been left on the bench from the other night.

Tomatoes in themselves aren’t overly exciting. But the fact they had sat there a few days, and not been eaten was something I can’t remember happening. Just like meat and other yummies, tomatoes have always had to be well hidden from one certain furry family member.

Caesar LOVED tomatoes. You could never leave them out, he would steal them and eat the WHOLE thing like it was a huge rump steak. He would smell it when you were cutting them and come running and meowing his head off. He would seek them out in the shopping bags before you have even unpacked them, and would try to steal them out of the fridge if you lingered to long with the door open.

Caesar loves tomatoes

Thought it was only onions that made you cry.

big fat loser take 2

weight lossA few months ago when The Biggest Loser was starting on TV we had a biggest loser weight loss challenge on All for Women. The challenge ran for 12 weeks, and the winner was to receive $100 as well as the satisfaction of hopefully losing some weight. It started off well with lots of people interested in joining in, but in the end there was only Kay and I left. I was crowned the winner after losing 6kg and got to keep my money..score!

After a discussion on Plurk with Rah who is also trying to lose weight at the moment we decided to challenge each other to a Bloggest loser challenge. It seems I can only lose weight when competing against others LOL.

So tomorrow the challenge starts, everyone is welcome to join in!

Rules are easy, weigh in will be on Sundays, so the first week is a bit of a warm up, so you can jump in when you can. The challenge will run for 12 weeks, starting tomorrow, the 7th July.

To join in, just make a post about the challenge and leave a comment and I will link to you from the challenge page (work in progress) In your post let us know your goals for the challenge and how you hope to achieve them. You don’t have to reveal how much you weigh if you don’t want to…just how much you wish to lose and your loss each week

My goal for the 12 week challenge is to lose 8kg. My plan will me similar to my previous gym program. It will be a little modified for the next few weeks as we are currently on 2 weeks school holidays, so it makes it hard to get there everyday. Also packing and the stress of moving will hopefully help to lose some kg too.

So come on..don’t be shy. Join Rah and I. Patric has desinagted herself cheer squad :D

random kid funnies

Is it all kids, or just boys that love sour lollies..no matter how gross they are! Of course I love buying them for the entertainment value. And seeing how many he can jam in at once!

He was waiting at school to go on an excusrion this week, and I caught him dashing off to the toilets foaming at the mouth. Of course I had to make him stop..suck it some more and let Mummy take a pic. “Your going to blog that aren’t you mum?” of course!

Mmmm sour

A beautiful picture, for Nana and Poop!
