Yesterday I went out with Mum and sister to the markets at Penrith. Nothing overly exciting to be bought there..but O.M.G the monkey jackets were everywhere..oh how I hate those bloody things! Seems nearly every man, woman and child in the area has one…great feelings of rage come over me when I see them!
After the markets we went off for lunch at King Henry’s Court, a cafe come gift shop set in a 1860’s church in Penrith.

This place is unbelievably crazy. Gift shop is a bit of an understatement. The place is jam packed to the rafter with crapola. All the walls and even the roof are covered in stuff!
You really can’t believe how much stuff they crammed into this little place, then manage to have a restaurant in amongst it all. The food is pretty good too.

The weirdest thing, I have never noticed the monkey jackets before we met up the other week, on the way home I saw three of them, you’re right, they’re like The Red Weed!
