Pink Ribbon Weekend

Just spent a wonderful weekend with some fab ladies :) Still recovering…must be getting old :P

Pink weekend collage

The original concept was a going away party for Naomi who is moving to that c place next year for 12mths. But coincided with pink ribbon day, so we had a Pink Ribbon breakfast on sunday morning with a decorate your bra parade! The girls did a great job of decorating their bras and we managed to raise some money..and awareness for breast cancer while having a blast.

I’m a big girl now

It’s taken me a little longer than most. I wonder if there is some sort of record for longest learner driver?

I rushed off to the RTA the afternoon of my 16th birthday to get my learners permit. Had no idea back then it would take so long to get around to going to the next level…and so much has changed since then.

Thankfully I only needed 50hrs, cause my log book is a bit of an antique from 2002. It was filled out with driving a week here and there over there years..

Finally got a round to it, with a little help from a dream of Patric’s ;)

Went for my test yesterday..and WOOOOO! Passed first go, which you would bloody hope so after so much practise. Not game to drive the car by myself yet…working up to that :P

He is getting a new (used) car, and I get stuck with the old one. I want something cute and pink to relive my youth in. Not some fat arsed old persons car :P

I am a big fat loser

Yay me! And a big well done to all the girls who participated in the Bloggest Loser Challenge.

The challenge came to an end last week, and yours truly came in first place again (how bloody awesome am I). I lost 6.88% of my body weight and lost nearly 7kg..which was a little shy of the 8kg goal I set for the challenge (but honestly didn’t think I would get close to when I set it) Also means I have officially lost over 10kgs since I started, really never thought I would get there either so I am super pleased!

Congratulations to all the girls who joined in and did just as well. Thanks girls for joining in and helping me reach my goals.

The awesome Kay bought me this prize, a pink pac man shirt w00t..I can now fit into normal t’s!!
