12 years later

55:365 This is my picture for today as part of my phoney 365 challenge, which I am still doing..surprise surprise! This is picture #55 of 365. Have just been slack with the updates..but you can see all the pics at flickr if you are so inclined or the latest few over—>

This piece of wood is all that remains of a bedside table/draws (which was the very first piece of furniture I ever bought for myself with my own money from working at MacDonald LOL.) It went in the large cull before everything went to storage, but I wanted to keep this piece.

Jake wrote this 12yrs ago today on the first night that we had moved out of home together. We had been living at his parents. But we only lasted not even a week before we moved back as we found out one of our house mates was a junkie.

When he wrote it, I complained that they were not my initials! He said don’t worry, they will be soon (should I have run then you think :P ?)

Soon…since when is 12yrs soon?!…12yrs later, here I am still bloody waiting!

But I won’t have to wait much longer. A few weeks ago we decided a bit out of the blue that we will just do it, before we move out of home a second time.

So, just over 2 weeks, a few days before we settle on the house ..we are getting married. We have a celebrant booked, rings picked out but that is about it. Still no idea where yet..but none of that is really important (but if you have any suggestions?)

We are going super small, shame we need bloody witnesses as I’d rather it be just us. After 13yrs together..it really isn’t about anyone else but us, or “sharing our speacial day”..I don’t do sharing!

Come check out our (my lovely bogan cupcake twin rah and I) new blog That’s Noice..come on..you know you want to! We’re giving away stuff.

I had a dream! No really, I did. I dreamt one night that I started a cupcake blog and about all things yummy and cupcakey, I even dreamt of the name. Pretty freaky, not something I usually dream about. But soon realised that, while cupcakes are awesome..there is so much more. So a quick name change..and here we are.

That’s Noice, it’s Aussie for Awesome. We’ll bring you a great mix of stuff we find in our travels, clothes, jewellery, websites and more! Everything will be in or available to Aussies. We’ll be especially featuring lots of handmade goodies….and cupcakes of course!

Mourning the loss of an old friend

*fans face* so, I’m not going to cry..

Today I lost a very special friend, we have been through and seen many things together. I am having a lot of trouble imagining life without them (not sure if it’s a he or a she?)

My beloved Canon S2 IS passed away today *sob*

4 great years we spent together, and I am honestly sad to see it go. Have been wanting a new one for so long, but have loved this one too much to part with it. Now I’m really not in a position to buy a new one. The thought of not owning a digital camera (that works) for the first time in over 9yrs is scary..and sad :(

Another month, another update. You know, we missed the 1yr anniversary back in October (I’m slow..I know)..can’t believe we have been doing the list for so long. All the fabulous blogs I have discovered along the way (you don’t want to see the mess that is my feed reader let me tell you!) Hope your all still enjoying it?

Sorry to those girls last month who were wonder WTF happened to their ranking :( . Seems Technorati was having a mental health day when I was doing the rankings and it spat out some funky numbers. Hopefully things are back to normal this month. Sorry again…

And, I’m getting lazy..just going to show the overall ranking rather than the all 3. Makes it much easier on my poor brain and eyes.

Remember if you change your domain, or you want to be on the list.PLEASE remember to register at Technorati other wise I can’t rank you, not to mention it makes the script have a spaz. Also, I can’t just change your domain in the list, so you may have to wait a few moths for it to return to the list.
