Mourning the loss of an old friend

*fans face* so, I’m not going to cry..

Today I lost a very special friend, we have been through and seen many things together. I am having a lot of trouble imagining life without them (not sure if it’s a he or a she?)

My beloved Canon S2 IS passed away today *sob*

4 great years we spent together, and I am honestly sad to see it go. Have been wanting a new one for so long, but have loved this one too much to part with it. Now I’m really not in a position to buy a new one. The thought of not owning a digital camera (that works) for the first time in over 9yrs is scary..and sad :(

Ohs noez- perhaps a friend who has upgraded recently has a decent little digital cam you can use?? Spotrick still uses our little old Cybershot at work- it’s still quite good, although rather ancient! Ask around- never know your luck in this day and age… Condolences all round ((((O))))

She’s served you well over the years and tolerated a fair bit of hard yakka. Not many cameras would keep trucking with chocolate in the mechanism. :( My offer still stands though. :)

What did it die from? I’ve had the same model for about 3.5 years and still going strong – even though its my 2nd camera now I’ve got a DSLR.
