Sometimes I wonder…

If owning animals is worth it? Do the years of joy and love really make up for what comes at the end, having to say goodbye?

Today I’m not sure I can answer that. After having to make the hard decision to say good bye yet again, for the 2nd time this year…

10yrs….it doesn’t seem like nearly long enough? It is the longest we have ever had an animal (unless you count Hayden I guess) Why does it seem none of ours live to a ripe old age like other peoples..what are we doing wrong?

    Oh, beautiful Sasha. And in answer to your question, yes, it is worth it to have pets. Definitely. She will be lovingly remembered.
