Today I’m not sure I can answer that. After having to make the hard decision to say good bye yet again, for the 2nd time this year…

10yrs….it doesn’t seem like nearly long enough? It is the longest we have ever had an animal (unless you count Hayden I guess) Why does it seem none of ours live to a ripe old age like other peoples..what are we doing wrong?

How did you get from this tiny little bundle  (it’s earth hour, and dark..this is the only pic I could find without breaking stuff or myself) to becoming so grown up…a 7 year old!

I remember your birthday more vividly than Hayden and Emily. Daddy said it was one of the best and worst days of his life. You came into the world..and I nearly left. We both wear special charms to remember the day, funnily enough with your birthday inscribed on the back..yet he can NEVER remember.

We had a great day today. After much begging from you, we finally let you have your ears pierced, tho only just…it took a good 20mins of bribing for you to let the lady do the 2nd ear. Then yum cha and a movie (How to train a dragon in 3D, it was awesome, highly recommend)

Lucky me got a makeover (with the makeup set I bribed you with to get the second ear pierced..karma?)

How is it my 10yr old baby boy is wearing men’s size 8 shoes? Yes, this is him wearing his Dad’s (well I can’t tell you what I call them when a 10yr old is wearing them ) boots? I’ve told him that by the time he is 14, he is going to have to start shopping at the clown shoe shop..perhaps that will end up not as crazy as it sounds.

How is it my 10yr old baby boy is also wearing men’s clothing? Won’t be long and he will be stealing Dad’s shoes and clothes too.

How is it my 10yr old baby boy is going away on camp in a week…for  THREE DAYS and 2 WHOLE NIGHTS?

How the hell did all that happen? He’s just a baby!
