I remember your birthday more vividly than Hayden and Emily. Daddy said it was one of the best and worst days of his life. You came into the world..and I nearly left. We both wear special charms to remember the day, funnily enough with your birthday inscribed on the back..yet he can NEVER remember.
We had a great day today. After much begging from you, we finally let you have your ears pierced, tho only just…it took a good 20mins of bribing for you to let the lady do the 2nd ear. Then yum cha and a movie (How to train a dragon in 3D, it was awesome, highly recommend)
Lucky me got a makeover (with the makeup set I bribed you with to get the second ear pierced..karma?)

well, sort of. Manpet did some fire drills yesterday and had to put out some real fires…so that kinda counts..yeah?
Tomorrow is our 1st wedding anniversary. How fast has that year gone! And we haven’t killed each other (tho we have been together 14yrs this year, so I had already beaten all the bad habits out of him long ago) If we are really honest, he some kind of super human to put up with me LOL
What am I buying him? What…am I not present enough?? I don’t work for Hallmark any more, and I am certainly not actually paying for a card.
He doesn’t want anything tho, who says that? At any given moment I could rattle off about 10 things that I “want”..but nope, not him…weirdo. So I shall just have presents for the both of us. Like a new car, stereo, a magic mouse…I best not let all my secret purchases slip..in case he is reading, but thank you darling 
So we are off out on a date! Nothing too exciting, Dinner and Alice in Wonderland (see how well trained he is 
) And having a child free night, the kids are sleeping at the inlaws.
When I stop and think, this is the first night out without the kids in nearly 3yrs. Wow, that sounds bad saying it out loud, doesn’t it? Didn’t realise it had been so long. I guess it is just easier not to worry about putting people out getting a baby sitter etc. Not that I have minded at all, or missed it. Do you do date nights?
It has been nearly 18mths since finally got around to getting my P’s.
It was not long after that I bought myself my first car (which technically wasn’t my first, but lets just say first that I could legally drive )
Wow, forgot it looked OK. Reminds me a little of why we actually bought it. I can tell you, it looks nothing like that now! Through no damage or neglect on my part mind you, she had just been badly neglected in the past. Was and still is wonderful to drive (cept in summer, no a/c in black car is NOT noice)
We swore never to buy a black car, or any car in the dark again. I still stand by my decision to buy it tho. We aren’t stupid when it comes to buying cars, we have done it many a time. Of all we looked out in my tiny budget, I just liked that one. We bought something super cheap, so if I smashed it, we could just toss it out and get a new one. Yay me, I didn’t so put so much as a scratch on it.
So I get my new job, which involves 3 days a week in the office…in Nth Sydney. There is no freaking way I am driving that ugly thing there! Even the kids were getting a little iffy about going in it.
SO after much looking, bought my new car last Friday, in the dark and rain.
I love it! Nice to have something you actually enjoy driving (with A/C!), and don’t feel ashamed to get into. New stereo is also awesome.
Stupid photo memes, I should have known better. I have thrown in the towel already.
It wasn’t the lack of photo opportunities, more the lack of decent camera. I really enjoy taking and looking back at the 365 pics I have taken, but the crappy quality has annoyed me no end. (yes, I am aware that most of it is probably driver error…but shuddup k while I’m bitching )
It has been 12mths since my beloved canon powershot died. I loved that camera, I knew how to get the best out of it, life hasn’t been the same since

I replaced it soon after a new model powershot, thinking surely a new version will be much better. Quite frankly, it sucks and I hate it! I knew I should have upgraded to an DSRL, but, to be honest I thought I was too lazy for that..bit like driving an auto car..I can’t be arsed learning manual.
At least I used to have my n97 as a camera back up, awesome pics for a mobile. But now with my iPhone *covers my iPhones ears* I love my iPhone to bits, I really do. But the camera…what a piece of shit! My gawd apple, would it kill you to include a decent camera?
So perhaps when Apple stops releasing new goodies that I.MUST.HAVE, I will finally get around to getting a DSRL.
