Well, spring is here and it’s time to drag out the box of thongs. The collection is sadly lacking after I was forced to throw a whole bunch out when we moved (it’s OK, I tossed a bunch of his stuff out as payback)
I haven’t always been a thong girl, and I really hope by now you realise which type of thong, I mean seriously…who the hell thought it was a great idea to call them flip flops! And there is NO way my arse would be party to any of the other thong business!
Anyway.. it’s only been in the last few years that I have come to truly appreciate the awesome thong. I still bare the scars of my very first thong experience…those things can be dangerous! One needs to carefully consider which thong and material is best for them, you can’t just go wearing any thong, that’s crazy.
Are you a thong person? It’s OK if your not.. I guess, tho it does remind me of that chicken ad. If you don’t like thongs, there is something very wrong with you.

Words cannot describe the burning hatred I have for cat piss.
Someone else’s tomcats’ piss, sprayed all over my front door near daily. Or them shitting in my garden (which seems to have stopped, cause the bastards can’t dig in my new rocks) going through my garbage bin and spreading it all over the driveway. Fighting, and screaming in our yard, in turn sending the dogs off.
People assume, your a bit of a crazy cat lady, you must love all cats. Not when they piss on my bloody front door I don’t! I have no love for these cats what so ever!
I have a very sensitive nose at the best of times, but I reckon I can smell this stuff from a kilometre away. Can’t have the door open, without washing it down with boiling water and disinfectant. Not to mention how unpleasant it must be for our cats. I don’t think the neighbours would be too pleased if I sent Hayden over to piss on their front door.
I think they come from next door, but they don’t appear to actually care for them. They just wander about doing as they please, having litter upon litter. I actually rang the RSPCA about a mother cat and her litter that had made themselves at home in our yard a few weeks before we moved in.
Sooo… who has something to get rid of these bloody cats? I am desperate! Don’t go there with the rat bait or aspirin.
The $150 stick in a pot that has had me rather nervous for the last few weeks is actually growing…she’s a live! and has leaves…woo hoo!

Hayden is OBSESSED with lizards at the moment, nag nag nag nag nag every damn day for one. Spotted this at Bunnings and got it for him…he was less than impressed..hahah! Not sure how long it will last before it’s knocked off.
Everyone loves a freebie, and one of the added bonuses of feeding premium cat food is the cool freebies you often get with purchase. IAMS is one of the better companies, we have cat carriers for all, tunnels, tents, treat balls and all manner of tins and containers for storing the food.
Today when I went to get the cat food there was a cute little mouse house. Someone will love that I thought.
The meezers are a bit like children (well, maybe a lot) If someone has something, they all want it. And so started the war of the mouse house that.
Calais claimed it first, as soon as I took it out of the packet he was in there.
Gemini came a long soon after and wanted in on the action. Calais how ever was not at all interested in sharing. Much biffo followed and she jumped out..only to return 2mins later for another try and repeat x10. (she is a bit slow)
Stasia came along and claimed the prime spot at the sunny entrance, there is no arguing or saying no to her…just move over.
Gemini had some luck on the 11th try, he gave up and moved over again, there is certainly no arguing with 2 girls.
Alex, not one to be left out..”knock knock..is there room for one more?”
Quiet for a few minutes, till someone moves and it all starts again.

So after the super yummy dinner it was time to jump on the bus for the night tour.
First stop was the Lions, Jasiri and his girls. He acted like a sweet little pussy cat showing off for morsels of roo. Even showing off with a bit of a roaring match with his ladies.
Next we stopped by the Manned Wolf, Suzie the Wombat and the Hippos. Bit hard to take pictures in the dark. The manned wolf was a little easier to smell than see, but Suzie was happy to come say hello for a pat and some sweet potato.
Back to our tent for the night. It had a heated floor that was amazing, we all sat around the floor for awhile warming our arses and Hayden decided he was sleeping on the floor.
Up early for showers and ready for the last tour at 7am.
Breakfast with a black rhino, he was just gorgeous. Happily sucking in his favourite branches from anyone and everyone.
We then stopped by to meet and feed a Bongo and then the Cheetahs.
Last, but certainly not least was the African Elephant girls Yum Yum and Cuddles just back from their stroll around the park and doing their morning health checks.
We then made our way back to the lodge for breakfast and checkout. We spent a few more hours checking out the rest of the animals at the zoo..and then headed home.
We had an amazing time on Zoofari…highly recommend it, just awesome!
